Know where every container is before anyone has to ask.
getwetrack gives exporters, importers and manufacturers one live view of every shipment they own, no matter which forwarder, carrier or transporter is moving it.
Milestones arrive by email and WhatsApp with a live tracking link, so your team spends the day on buyers and production instead of chasing status updates.
- Port-to-port tracking for FCL, LCL and air, import and export
- A live map link for each shipment with vessel, milestone and party details
- An alert the moment a milestone slips, not days later
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 30 September 2026. Applies to getwetrack.com.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how [Registered Company Name] ("we", "us", "our"), the company behind WeTRACK and the website getwetrack.com, collects, uses, shares and protects personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data described here and, for the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), the Data Fiduciary.
2. Who this policy applies to
This policy covers anyone who visits getwetrack.com and any business contact who receives correspondence from us or writes to us in a professional capacity. Personal data that our customers upload to or process within the WeTRACK platform is handled under our customer terms, not this policy.
3. Categories of data
- Identity and role data: full name, designation and employer.
- Contact data: business email address, business phone number and office location.
- Organisational data: company name, website, industry and publicly available trade or shipment information.
- Interaction data: messages exchanged with us and delivery status of our emails.
- Log data: IP address, user-agent and access time, held by our hosting provider.
We do not knowingly process special-category or sensitive personal data.
4. Where the data comes from
We obtain personal data (a) directly from you; (b) from publicly available sources, such as company websites, professional networking profiles, trade directories and published import-export records; (c) from licensed business-information providers that confirm to us that they collected the data lawfully; and (d) from referrals by people who know you professionally.
5. How we use personal data
- To introduce WeTRACK to professionals whose work involves shipment tracking, and to follow up on that introduction;
- To answer questions and arrange meetings you request;
- To record and respect your choice not to hear from us;
- To keep this website and our email systems secure; and
- To comply with applicable law.
Legal basis. Under the GDPR we rely on legitimate interests in business-to-business communication, which we have assessed against your rights and freedoms, and on legal obligation where relevant. Under the DPDP Act, we process data you have made publicly available in your professional capacity and, wherever consent is required, only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without detriment.
6. Your right to object to outreach
You have an unconditional right to object to direct marketing. To exercise it, reply to any of our emails asking us to stop, or contact privacy@getwetrack.com. We will cease all outreach to you across all of our sending domains no later than 10 business days after receiving your request. We retain your email address on a suppression list for the sole purpose of respecting your objection.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with:
- service providers that host our email, send and manage our correspondence, verify email deliverability, store our customer-relationship records or host this website, each bound by written confidentiality and security obligations and permitted to use the data only on our instructions;
- professional advisers such as lawyers and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality;
- courts, regulators or law-enforcement authorities where the law requires it, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
- a successor entity in a merger, acquisition or reorganisation, which will remain bound by this policy.
8. Cross-border processing
Because our tools are provided by international vendors, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We transfer it only where the law allows: for GDPR-covered data, under an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses; for DPDP-covered data, never to a jurisdiction notified as restricted by the Government of India.
9. Storage periods
Outreach data: deleted or anonymised on opt-out or within 24 months of last engagement, whichever is sooner. Customer and partner correspondence: relationship term plus the period required by law. Hosting logs: short-term, for security only. Do-not-contact entries: retained for as long as needed to give effect to your objection, and restricted to your email address and the date of the request.
10. How we protect it
We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (TLS), access limited to named staff who need it, individual accounts protected by two-factor authentication, and due diligence on our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the relevant authorities, including the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
11. Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or complete it, or to delete it. You may object to our processing, withdraw any consent you have given, request a copy of your data in a portable format, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Under the DPDP Act you may also nominate someone to act for you, and you have a right to have grievances addressed.
Send requests to privacy@getwetrack.com. We act on verified requests free of charge within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India or, if you are in the EU or UK, with a supervisory authority.
12. Website tracking
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or analytics on getwetrack.com, and the page makes no calls to third-party services. Standard access logs are generated by our hosting provider solely to keep the site secure.
13. Children
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
14. No automated decisions
None of our processing involves decisions made solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
15. Revisions
We review this policy periodically. Revised versions take effect when posted on this page, as indicated by the effective date. Significant changes will be clearly flagged, and any change that legally requires your consent will not apply to you until you have given it.
